AliExpress has hundreds of wireless earbuds at low prices, and their listings are full of big numbers: Bluetooth 6.0, -50 dB noise cancelling, HiFi, 9D stereo. Some of it matters, much of it is marketing. Here is how to read a listing.
Fit comes first
The best sound means little if the earbuds fall out or hurt after an hour. In-ear tips seal the ear canal and give more bass and better isolation; open clip-on designs are more comfortable for long wear and let you hear your surroundings. Most models come with several tip sizes — try them all.
Treat numbers as claims
- Noise cancelling (ANC) in dB is the seller's figure measured in ideal conditions. Real-world reduction is usually smaller, but ANC models still noticeably cut steady noise like buses or air conditioners.
- Bluetooth version affects connection stability and power use more than sound quality. Anything from 5.3 up is fine for everyday use.
- "Low latency" gaming modes can help with video and casual games; competitive gamers will still prefer wired.

Everyday budget picks
For commuting, podcasts and calls, a simple, well-reviewed model often makes more sense than chasing specs. Look for touch controls you can live with, a case that fits your pocket and battery life that covers your day with a top-up from the case.

Special cases
Small earbuds designed for sleeping, or open clip-on earbuds for running, solve specific problems — choose them for the use case, not for specs.

Before you buy
- Read the newest reviews, especially about microphone quality and connection drops.
- Check which version or color you select on the product page — prices and specs can differ between options.
- Look at the seller's rating and the return terms on AliExpress.
Specifications are taken from seller listings. Product data (feedback share, sales) comes from AliExpress and changes over time; current prices are shown on each product card.
