Hamilton Beach Smooth Touch electric can opener

Description

This is an electric can opener from Hamilton Beach with a push-down lever. Instead of turning a handle by hand, you set the can in place, press the lever and the opener does the cutting, which makes it handy for anyone who opens canned food often. According to the Amazon listing, it cuts along the side of the can rather than through the top, which is meant to leave fewer sharp edges. It can be operated with one hand, and it needs a power outlet, so it is not a portable tool for camping or travel. It suits older people and anyone who finds a regular manual opener hard to use. Before buying, check on the Amazon page the colour variant, the cord length and whether the can sizes you usually open are supported.
