Handheld seed and ice melt spreader, 80 oz

Description

This is a handheld spreader for scattering grass seed, fertilizer and ice melt or salt. It is meant for small jobs around the house, such as a lawn patch, a flower bed or a garden path, where a large push spreader would be too much. According to the Amazon listing, the opening can be set to several sizes, so you can match it to fine seed or coarser salt. The container holds up to 80 oz, the handle is described as ergonomic, and a screw-on lid is meant to keep the contents from spilling or splashing. It suits gardeners and home owners who want one simple tool for seeding in season and for salting walkways in winter. Before buying, check the capacity, the opening sizes and the exact variant on the Amazon page, and make sure the size of your seed or granules fits.
